our group portrait is what I call a good shot that reflects the group in the wall, the sun in middle and some gosthy sadows. Yor admirator. I sign to say I was there. Carolina

There are more of us present in the picture. Somebody might want to reconstruct biographies for the faces painted on the wall, and they might turn out to coincide with those of certain SLAG members.

But for the moment, I would like to emphasize that those shadows on the ground are only the ordinary amateur photograph elements, and the presence of SLAG in the picture is more as an elaboration of Roland Penrose’s painting “Bien vise (good shooting)” (you know, Penrose the once member of the SLIG - Surrealist London Inaction Group). His painting depicts a woman at an execution wall, but SLAG can not be discerned even at the day of their own execution!

Now that is a little harsh. I do think that at least some members of SLAG would eventually manage to turn up to their own execution. However some of us would get lost and arrive late, or be waiting at the wrong tube station, and some of us would insist on singing Dusty Springfield songs all the way there, and some of us would be fussing over their camera lenses, and some of us would need a cigarette before we could even think about putting on the blindfold. And some of us, of course, would arrive promptly at the place of execution, but while waiting would start to get interested in the insect life in the cracks in the wall, and so would get shot on time but facing the wrong way ....
